Mexico tops Ecuador in Phoenix
The Mexican National Team, led by new head coach Sven-Göran Eriksson, closed out its 2008 U.S Tour with a last-minute 2-1 victory over Ecuador in front of a raucous crowd on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at Chase Field in Phoenix, Ariz. After Isaac Mina put Ecuador ahead, Mexico got even on Leobardo Lopez's goal then took the game in the waning seconds thanks to Mathias Vuoso.
